The health and safety of all workers is of vital importance to the SHARP Alliance.
The June 2025 SHARP Alliance meeting will be held at the Blue Mountain Occupational Safety and Health Conference (BMC)
Topic: Injury or Illness at Work: Now What? Description: While serious injuries and illnesses happen routinely in the workplace, individual employers and employees are often unprepared for the aftermath of such an event occurring in their workplace. This session will focus on what an employer can and should do, after the injured worker is on the mend, to get them back to work. Topics covered include injury and illness reporting and recording, rehabilitation services, and how transitional return-to-work policies can save time, trouble and cost while getting the employee recovered and back to work. Date: Monday, June 2, 2025 Time: 1:00 pm – 4:30 pm Location: Pendleton Convention Center, 1601 Westgate, Pendleton OR 97801 This session will be available to attendees of the Blue Mountain Conference. It will also be made available virtually to those who RSVP. 
Since 2000, the SHARP Alliance has been promoting safety and health management and cooperation among companies and government for the betterment of all Oregon workers. In 2025, the SHARP Alliance has expanded to include SW Washington state!
One of the goals of the SHARP Alliance is to assist all companies in safety and health management. Several SHARP Alliance members will share their experiences on how their affiliation with the SHARP Alliance have benefited their position and their companies. Attendees will be able to:

This session will be led by members of the Oregon SHARP Alliance and Oregon OSHA The Oregon Sharp Alliance has continued its presence at conferences throughout Oregon and in Washington at the Region X VPPPA. All the conferences the SHARP Alliance supports through Legacy Sponsorships had representatives manning the new vendor booth (pictured at right). The SHARP Operating Committee voted to increase its financial Legacy Sponsorship of:
* Govenor's Safety and Health Conference, held in Portland on odd years. * Cascade Conference held in Eugene in March. * Region X VPPPA Conference held in May rotating between AK, ID, WA and OR. Full membership is open to those companies who have received SHARP or VPP recognition from Oregon OSHA.
Associate membership is open to all others. |
FlagsThe Oregon SHARP Alliance has been authorized by the Oregon OSHA VPP/SHARP Program Manager to purchase replacement SHARP Graduate and VPP Star flags in bulk, in order to help SHARP and VPP sites replace their flags at a lower cost.
