Since 2000, the SHARP Alliance has been promoting safety and health management and cooperation among companies and government for the betterment of all Oregon workers.  In 2025, the SHARP Alliance has expanded to include SW Washington state!

One of the goals of the SHARP Alliance is to assist all companies in safety and health management.  Several SHARP Alliance members will share their experiences on how their affiliation with the SHARP Alliance have benefited their position and their companies.
Attendees will be able to:
  • Evaluate the value of what the Alliance does;
  • Recognize the benefits of an effective safety management system;
  • Estimate the significance of mentoring; and
  • Justify the merits of networking.

Join us in for an interactive session on the value of mentoring and networking. This session will be led by members of the SHARP Alliance and Oregon OSHA

* Cascade Conference held in Eugene in March.
* Region X VPPPA Conference held in May rotating between AK, ID, WA and OR. See the web site, Classic Home - VPPPA Region X (regionxvpppa.org) for additional information.
* Blue Mountain Conference, fully sponsored by SHARP Alliance in Pendelton OR.
* Central Oregon Conference in Bend held in September annually.
* Southern Oregon Conference held in Ashland in October annually.
* Western Pulp, Paper & Forest Conference in Portland the week after Thanksgiving annually. Workshops are not always specific to Pulp, Paper and Forest.
